Active 10 – walk your way to health
Walk your way to health. Just 10 minutes of brisk walking every day can benefit your health, improve the way you feel and reduce the risk of a number of long-term conditions. It can also boost your energy, clear your head and lift your mood. All levels of fitness welcome.
Couch to 5K
A gentle, free, fun and friendly way to get fitter and healthier. With alternating sequences of walking and jogging it slowly introduces you to running, which is an activity proven to improve your health and wellbeing in many ways. You’ll get into the habit of exercising on a weekly basis and make new friends. We can accommodate late joiners if you miss the first or second week. A chance for people who would like a quiet place to pray or reflect, or just to find a bit of peace and quiet in this busy world we live in. While there, why not light a candle in memory of a loved one, or for someone who is unwell at this time. Refreshments in the hall.

Newhaven Day Club
Open for tea and coffee – meet old friends or make new ones. Activities include snooker, darts, cards and dominoes. Pet racing (with stuffed toy animals) and cream tea one afternoon per month from 1.30pm. Craft making once a month with snacks from 12.30pm.
