Couch to 5K
A gentle, free, fun and friendly way to get fitter and healthier. With alternating sequences of walking and jogging it slowly introduces you (and your body!) to running, which is an activity proven to improve your health and wellbeing in may ways. It is non-competitive, everyone’s achievements are celebrated and you are sure to make new friends. Call for details.

A talk on Old South Heighton – a Downland village with an industrial past, by speaker Ian Everest. Take a virtual walk around the village and delve into the past with old photos, paintings, maps, newspaper cuttings and fascinating anecdotes from past residents. At the Hillcrest Centre 7.30pm (doors open from 7.00). Free to members, non-members £5.00.
