We want you to get involved and enjoy the Greenhavens area, it is truly beautiful and there are so many places to visit and so many activities to get involved in. Whether it’s walking your dog, playing football or joining in with any of the activities the Greenhavens Network community groups offer, of which there are so many – including food growing, walking, cycling, conservation task days, gardening – the choice is endless, join in and be part of your community doing the things you love.

Newhaven Sewing

Newhaven Sewing is based in Fort Road and is run by June Bradbury.  June is a seamstress and sewing tutor. She teaches people how to use their sewing machines and offers private sewing lessons throughout the week. When she is not teaching June offers a mending and alteration service and personalised pattern making. June is also available for commissions including costumes, special outfits for weddings and civil partnerships and prototype products for designers.
