This class is open to beginners, places subject to availability. We will be focusing on simple and powerful Qigong movements and Tai Chi foundations to build an overall relaxed strength within the body. It’s not essential to attend this class if you just wish to learn the full Wu Style Tai Chi Short Form, but over the years I have witnessed people who spend time learning these foundation movements progress much better in the full form.

We will be opening the whole body with gentle but purposeful movements and learning the importance of shifting weight and turning while keeping our hips level, sinking chi within the body, keeping our ‘four points’ together, standing and dissolving as well as some Qigong forms such as Cloud Hands, The Marriage of Heaven and Earth, and The Willow Tree form.
