Remembrance Sunday 2025
Newhaven’s annual Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade took place on Sunday 9th November 2025.
Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.
The Service, conducted by Rev. Mike Milmine, at St Michael’s Church, was followed by a Parade down to Memorial Green for two minutes’ silence and wreath laying.
We were so pleased that the event was so well-attended by all generations, and that there was a huge volume of wreaths laid at Newhaven’s three memorials.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in this significant event to remember all those who lost their lives in World War 1, World War 2 and other conflicts since then.
