Biography

Huey’s aims were to:

1. See young people in Newhaven become a more integrated part of the community by holding events and activities that would bring all sections of the community together.
2. Raise money for his chosen charities: Newhaven and Seaford Sea Cadets and the Bhopal Medical Appeal.

Achievements in office:

1. Represented young people at a number of events.
2. Spoke on behalf of young people at town council meetings.
3. Reinstated the town’s Pram Race, an annual event last held in the 1980s, and took part in the event which was held on Easter Monday.
