Biography

Janki’s aims were to:

1. represent young people of Newhaven by sharing their views and thoughts with the town council
2. create a fresh new young people’s magazine designed, created and edited by the young people of Newhaven, containing both world and local community news.

Achievements in office:

1. spoke on behalf of young people in the town at town council meetings
2. represented young people at a number of events
3. produced an issue of Look Up, her magazine for the young people of Newhaven.
